Laura K
Hi, my name is Laura and I’m 18 years old. I live in a small town called Hundige, which is a 20-minute ride from downtown Copenhagen. Therefore, I take the train every morning to get to my high school, Rysensteen Gymnasium.
I live in a house with my mother, my father, and my cat. My parents’ names is Jesper and Lene and we’ve named our cat “Misser” which basically means “cat” in Danish.
Apart from my parents, I have two older brothers (Rasmus and Magnus) who both live in Copenhagen.
In my leisure time I sing in a girl choir. This is not only my hobby but also my job as I get paid to sing. Besides singing, I volunteer as a scout leader, where I play with - and take care of – small children in the age of 5-7.
Besides my hobbies, I’m a bit of a nerd, really. I like to play games on my computer, like Minecraft or Counter Strike, and in September 2012 I went to a big Minecraft gaming convention in Paris with my youngest brother. I really love to travel around the world and I’ve been in many of the European countries like France, Spain, Italy and Germany etc. I’ve also been to New York City and in Egypt, which is the furthest I’ve ever travelled. This means that I’ve never been in China, which is very unfortunate. I’ve always wanted to go to China, as the Chinese culture is so different from Denmark. I’m really looking forward to go next year. I’m very excited to meet you all next year!
Best Regards
