Dear Cai. Our Chinese teacher Lene told us to take a picture out of our window and describe the view, focusing on the differences and equalities between Denmark and China. Our picture is taken from Carl’s place, as you will be staying at Carl’s house during your visit. We hope that you will send us a picture from your window as well. At the picture you can see the brick houses with red tile roofs, which are very common in Denmark. It is very characteristic for the Danish architecture to build houses made of bricks instead of wood, concrete or other materials. In the picture you can also see a lot of trees and bushes, not only in the gardens but also along the road. Even though Copenhagen is a large city it is full of trees, flowers and parks. The Danish people values that Copenhagen remains a green city and has some very big parks for example Kongens Have and Fælledparken where a lot of young people like us go and chill out. We hope that you are looking as much forward to your visit in Denmark as we are, and that you will send us a picture of your view.
Best regards
Kristoffer and Carl
