Kia
My name is Kia Oeyaas and I am 18 years old. I live in Copenhagen with my mother and my little brother. My parents are divorced so at times I also live in the suburbs. At my father we are 7 members of the family, my father, his wife, 4 siblings and me. I spend many hours with my friends and I appreciate meeting new people while having funny experiences.
I always take to many cultural events such as art, concerts and poetry readings. I really appreciate listening to music or just being to concerts where you can feel the music both psychological and physiological. I like finding free events and small places.
To discover all places of my city.
It is not only my city I like to discover. I am looking forward to discover countries with different culture and traditions than my own. That is one of the reasons why I chose to learn chinese. The language, culture and traditions is so very different from what I know.
I like that. It gives me perspective. I am interested in how chinese people act among each other and how the mindset is. I am looking forward to learn both the similarities and the opposite between the danes and the chinese. I am very positive about learning chinese though it is quite difficult. I am very exited about going to China and I can't wait! This is going to be a great journey.
